What to expect

The course is aimed at participants from the United Arab Emirates and surrounding countries in particular last year residents, board-certified radiologists and fellows interested in Emergency Radiology and will cover level II and III knowledge as defined by the European Trainings Curriculum (ETC). This course is designed to shed light on the importance and relevance of state-of-the-art radiological imaging in the diagnosis, differential, and management for non-traumatic emergencies in different body regions. It is organized as a multimodality course discussing the most relevant clinical applications of both CT and MR.

The presentations will provide clear recommendations for optimized imaging protocol as well as structured approach to reporting. One specific clinical focus of this course will be on the state-of-the-art diagnosis of non-traumatic emergencies of the musculoskeletal system, divided into two separate presentations. Another main topic will be on non-traumatic vascular emergencies of the brain and the chest and their clinically most relevant differential diagnosis.

The faculty consists of three well known European experts who will ensure high-quality teaching. The successful structure of ESOR courses by combining the lectures with directly related interactive case discussions will be followed even in this course.
