What to expect

This course aims to familiarise radiologists with cutting-edge developments in thoracic imaging. This one-day course addresses the broad spectrum of different pulmonary diseases and the respective findings in chest radiology focusing on precise and accurate analysis of patterns, as well as use of classifications and management guidelines.

The range of topics covers the ever-challenging area of pulmonary nodules, in particular solid ones, infectious and non-infectious inflammatory lung diseases, such as pneumonias, tuberculosis, hypersensitivity pneumonitis and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and finally pleural neoplasms.

The courses focus on the clinical needs, technical solutions and appropriate application of imaging and patterns in diagnosis, decision-making and management of these disease entities.

A unique group of European and Colombian faculty members, well known for their experience in chest radiology, offers top quality didactic lectures sharing their expertise and best cases. The combination of didactic lectures with interactive workshops guarantees the high educational value of this teaching programme.
