caring for both
people and planet
Healthy people need a healthy environment.
As radiologists, our first priority will always be the well-being of our patients – and that means doing what we can, to limit unsustainable practices.
Through 5 thematic sessions, this course will offer you helpful, practical, inspiration for how you and your institution can be more environmentally sustainable.
These webinars are developed in collaboration with the ESR Sustainability Subcommittee and are available for free for all ESR members.
What to expect
Sustainability is one of the most pressing and universal challenges of our time, and radiology plays a pivotal role in addressing it. With increasing awareness of healthcare’s environmental impact, radiology professionals are uniquely positioned to lead sustainable practices that benefit both the planet and patient care.
This course series is designed to empower radiologists, radiographers and healthcare professionals with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to integrate sustainability into their daily practice. Covering key topics such as energy consumption, waste management, contrast agents, and certification frameworks, the sessions aim to provide practical insights and foster a culture of environmental responsibility in radiology.
