Image Analysis Methodologies
What to expect
Suitable for any ESR member interested in undertaking research, but with a particular focus on those early in their careers. This course aims to present some of the fundamental aspects of radiological research. The course consists of 1 online session of 60 min (5 min introduction, 40 min presentation, 15 min Q&A).
It is increasingly common to use a quantitative approach for radiological research using computational and automated methods. Imaging data are processed with algorithms and pipelines, and often need to be stored outside PACS to enable such processing. In this session, the various approaches to image analysis are discussed together with potential concerns such as data security.
