What to expect
This is a comprehensive year-long programme tailored for mid-career radiologists stepping into or already in leadership roles. Through interactive online sessions and immersive in-person modules, you will develop self-awareness, team-building skills, and strategies for leading change. The course blends expert talks, group discussions, and hands-on activities to help you advance your career, inspire your team, and navigate challenges with confidence.

Faculty
Andrea Rockall, London/UK
Andrea Rockall is Clinical Chair in Radiology at Imperial College London and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. She has served as Chair of the Female Pelvic Imaging group of ESUR, member of ORADS steering committee, Chair of the ESR National Societies Committee and is currently the President of the European Society of Radiology.
Geraldine MvGinty, New York, NY, USA
She is an internationally recognised expert in imaging economics. In May 2018 she was elected as the Chair of the ACR’s Board of Chancellors; the first woman to hold this office. In 2014 she joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City and in 2021 she was appointed as Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs. Since 2017 she has taught in the combined Weill Cornell Medicine and Cornell SC Johnson School of Business EMBAMS in Healthcare Leadership. She is a member of the board of 4D Medical (4DX) as well of her alma mater. In 2019, she was awawrded the Jessica M and Natan Bibliowicz Award for Excellence in Mentoring Women Faculty.
William Dawson, London/UK
William Dawson’s entry into coaching stems from his career as an employment lawyer. At Farrer & Co, he led the Senior Executive team, advising executives and professional leaders on personal workplace issues. William also held senior management roles at Farrer & Co and previously at Simmons & Simmons.
William recently qualified as a Business Coach after completing his training at Meyler Campbell. He is also a member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council.
In his coaching practice, he focuses on issues related to Emotional Intelligence, helping professionals enhance their leadership by developing greater self-awareness and translating this into more effective relationships with colleagues, including improved team management.
Christian Loewe, Vienna/AT
Prof. Christian Loewe chairs the Division of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at the Medical University of Vienna. He is the chairperson of the National Society Committee and a member of the Executive Council of the European Society of Radiology (ESR). Additionally, he is the deputy scientific and educational director at the European School of Radiology (ESOR) and the President of the Austrian Roentgen Society. His research focuses on non-invasive cardiovascular imaging (CT and MR of the heart, CT, and MR angiography). Prof. Loewe has delivered over 460 lectures, authored/co-authored 160+ peer-reviewed articles, and written five book chapters.
Annemiek Snoeckx, Antwerp/BE
Annemiek Snoeckx (MD, PhD) is Associate Professor at the University of Antwerp and Chair of the Radiology Department of the Antwerp University Hospital in Belgium. Her clinical and research interests are in the field of thoracic oncology imaging with a special interest in lung cancer imaging, pulmonary nodules, and implementation of lung cancer screening. She authored or co-authored 80+ papers in peer-reviewed journals and has lectured at many national and international meetings and courses.
Frank J. Lexa, Pittsburgh, PA, USA
Frank J. Lexa, MD, MBA, FACR is an academic neuroradiologist . He has held multiple leadership positions in the ACR including Vice President. He has been honored with several major scientific research awards including the Cornelius G. Dyke Memorial award of the American Society of Neuroradiology. He also works outside of academic medicine and taught at the Wharton School for 17 years where he worked with students in the Global Consulting Practicum on five continents. He has authored over 170 peer reviewed papers and written the book: Leadership Lessons for Success in Health Care.
Susan Shelmerdine, London/UK
Dr. Susan Shelmerdine is a clinical academic and paediatric radiologist, leading research in AI applications for children’s healthcare. Having worked and collaborated with multiple stakeholders in leadership roles across research, industry, education, and international societies, she seeks to understand goals and priorities from all perspectives with a focus on empathic leadership.
Steve Hutchinson, York, UK
Steve is an executive coach, facilitator, and author specializing in Leadership, Personal Impact and Organisational Effectiveness. With nearly two decades of experience, he has worked globally across sectors including health, education, and corporate.
He has collaborated with 22 UK Russell Group Universities, designed leadership programs for institutions like Imperial College, and co-created the Vitae Leadership in Action program.
Holding advanced diplomas in Executive Coaching and Mentoring, he has logged several thousands of coaching hours and is pursuing ILM accreditation in Coaching Supervision. Steve has co-authored seven books and contributed chapters on leadership and professional development.
Rosalind Given-Wilson, London/UK
Dr Rosalind Given-Wilson is a UK Radiologist who has experience in a number of leadership roles in healthcare and education, executive and non-executive. She is a member of a UK government advisory group, active in research and has lectured widely. She is focused on the importance of managing up, understanding the context you operate in and potential levers for change.
Ulrike Attenberger, Vienna/AT
Prof. Ulrike Attenberger is an accomplished leader in radiology and medical innovation, currently serving as Chair of the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-Guided Therapy. Prof. Attenberger has led groundbreaking projects in AI-driven healthcare, such as AI-POD and the Innovative Secure Medical Campus, and is dedicated to fostering collaboration and mentoring the next generation of talent. Known for her approachable leadership style, she combines her international experience and management expertise to make cutting-edge advancements in radiology accessible to patients and professionals alike.
